PowerPoint to PDF image size

When I convert a PowerPoint to a PDF by using the "save as" my PowerPoint slides become very small. I'm using the "2-up" option and don't know why it's making the image so small. I have some files I did years ago and the slides take up most of the page and are nice and easy to ready. What I'm doing now is small and difficult to read. Help.
