I'm looking for a forms tool that will solve a problem.  I have 5 forms that a person completes.  Some of the information on each form that the person completes is the same on all forms.  To save time, I'm looking to build a form that when the person complete a field (example their name) it will fill in the six form with that information.

An example:  I fill out my name in the fillable field on a master form and the  name fields on the 6 forms are filled in.  Then I have 6 completed form without duplicating the same information 6 times.  Is this a feature of Live Cycle or is there a better product that I should look at?

If you're creating your forms in LiveCycle Designer, you should post this in the LiveCycle Designer forum here: LiveCycle Designer

For forms created in Acrobat, there is no built-in feature for this, but there are a number of scripting approaches you can take. With Acrobat you can export data to a data file and import it into a different form. Which approach you choose depends on whether it needs to work with Reader and whether the forms can be attachments to a base form or need to be individual files. The more information you can provide on how the forms will be used will be helpful.
