print PDF from IE 11 locks up IE

I am running IE v11 on my PC. Under Tools > Manage Add-ons, I have PDFs set to open in the browser window, not in Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

If I open a link to a PDF form on a website displayed in IE 11, the PDF form displays in the browser window (as it should) but if I try to print it, the browser completely locks up.

Has anyone seen this issue? Is there a fix for this?
