My computer recently received some Windows 10 updates.  Since then, I've been unable to print MS Office files to PDF.  This is a critical function.  Please help!

Hi audreyf73527476

Could you please share the exact work flow of how you are trying to print MS office files to PDF.

What happens when you try to print file to PDF? Do you get any error message ?

What is the dot version of Adobe application you using?

Regards,

Meenakshi

Meenakshi,

I'm using Acrobat 9 Standard successfully with Windows 10 for months.  My typical process is to create the document in either MS Word or Excel then, using the print function, select "Adobe PDF" as the printer, and create a filename.  In MS Word, I'm able to successfully print the document to PDF about 50% of the time without issue.  In Excel though, the file ends up as a .txt file with the file name I create.  Again, this only started on Monday AFTER my computer underwent some updates over the weekend (I can't seem to figure out how to stop automatic Windows updates in Window 10 but that's not an issue for Adobe!).

Thank you for your attention.

Audrey

Hi audreyf73527476

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows 10 and MS office 2016.

It may or may not work properly. As you have mentioned that it occurred after the updates, it may be the compatibility issue.

Would also like to inform you that Acrobat 9 is an old and unsupported version.End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)
