Printing and cutting two pages on on one slide - keeping original order

Hi,

I have the following problem: I use an automatic software that gives me students results as pdfs. To save paper I print these documents as two pages on one slide (landscape). After this I use a paper cutting machine and then of course I'm facing the problem that the original order (1-30) is out of place. What I would need is (let's say I habe 30 students, i.e. 30 sheets) that sheet #1 is next to sheet #16 and sheet #2 is next to sheet#17 an so on, so that after cutting the paper I have two staples with the correct order. Is there any way to do this more or less automatically? Performing these (digital) steps by hand is even more work than sorting out the papers after printing.
