Printing/Extracting pages containing serach term(s)

Hi,

I am looking for a way to print or extract only those pages within a doc that contain a search term; what would be the search result set I suppose.  Right now I have to note every page a term(s) is/are on and then go back and extract or print.  Anyone have this issue before?

TIA,

-mark

Yes, which is why I've developed a (paid-for) tool that can do it, based on the results of an Advanced Search command in Acrobat.

You can find it here: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Print or Extract Pages from CSV Search Results

Another way of doing it is to iterate over all the words in the file, looking for matches to your search term, and then exporting those pages as a new file, which can then be printed or saved. If the file is long, or the search term complex, that might be too much for Acrobat to handle, though. That's why I've created my tool to use the results of the built-in search engine, which is much more robust than a script.
