Printing to Acrobat XI from Microsoft Access 2010 reports

Running Win 10 Pro and I have numerous reports that I have created in an Access 2010 database and whenever I try to print a report to Acrobat XI I get an out of memory error.  Specifically:

"Microsoft Access couldn't print your object."  (hit OK), then next dialog box:

"There isn't enough free memory to update the display.  Close unneeded programs and try again."

I can print to Acrobat from any other application (even the other Office applications) but only have this issue when printing from a report generated in Access.  I can also create a PDF by printing to a generic PDF creator, but not when I print to the Adobe Acrobat printer.

Anybody have any ideas?  Thank you.

Hi brettb22621128

Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed on your system .Also check whether is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check for updates "

Also Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

Please check for different location on your system while printing the documents to replicate the issue.,

Please check with this Article :- Troubleshoot PDF printing in Adobe Acrobat and Reader

If the issue still persist, please check with the different user account to replicate the issue.

Thank you for the reply.  I am using:

Win10 - 10.0.10586 Build 10586

Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 - 14.0.7166.5000 (32 bit)

Acrobat XI - 11.0.15

And here are the two error messages I get:

These errors only occur when printing to Acrobat.  If I use the generic, "Microsoft Print to PDF" it will successfully create the pdf.  If i create the pdf from Word, Exel or Outlook, Acrobat comes up fine.  It is only when creating a PDF in Acrobat from any report created in Microsoft Access.

Hello Brett,

What happens if you try to print using "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" printer (for testing purpose only) ?

There are some suggestions from Microsoft for similar issue though the version is not same,

but you may try suggestions : https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/kb/294552
