Problem installing Acrobat after refreshing my computer

I have a PC using Windows 10.  Recently to get rid of a nasty virus, I had to refresh my computer, which means I had to reinstall everything.  In trying to install my Adobe Acrobat XI Standard, I got the error message:

Error 1335.  The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for installation is corrupt and cannot be used.

What do I do?

1st, try a different download kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2203126 may help

2nd, An idea that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10... works for some, not for others

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

I tried downloading the XI Standard installer as I found in the first link you suggested, but during the installation I got the same error message about the Data1.cab file  being corrupted.  I'm not sure running as administrator would do anything to fix that problem.  Any other suggestions?
