problems saving pdf - error 114

Question

Hallo,

ich habe ein PDF-Dokument (InDesign - Adobe Acrobat) - ein Buch mit 200 Seiten). Ich habe es der Autorin geschickt und sie hat in das PDF mit Adobe Reader Notizen hinzugefügt für weitere Änderungen. Wenn sie auf Datei "Speichern unter" - "PDF" - "Buch.pdf" geht, dann kommt die Meldung: "Das Dokument konnte nicht gespeichert werden. Beim Lesen dieses Dokuments ist ein Fehler aufgetreren (114). Auch im Adobe Acrobat.

English: I created a PDF Dokument (a book with 200 pages, Indesign-Adobe Acrobat). I send this pdf to the lector and she added some notices in the document. She tried to save it, but it wasn´t possible. "There was a problem reading this document... (114)." Also in Adobe Acrobat

Can anybody help us please?

check for corrupt metadata in the document.open the PDF. Go to File > Properties > Description > Additional Metadata > Advanced

We just ran into this problem in our office. I did an "Enhance Scans" (Adobe Acrobat DC) on the PDF, and it stopped at a page where it was unable to process. So that narrowed it down to the problematic page. We were able to print the page and re-scan it, and then deleted the page, and inserted the new scanned page, and then were able to save the PDF.

Hope this helps anyone else that runs into this error.
