Problems with copy and paste

I use Acrobat Pro for editing documents, and in the DC version I keep having problems with one of the most elemental functions, copying and pasting comments. I am only able to copy and paste the text within graphic elements (rectangles, arrows, etc.), not the graphic element itself (with the accompanying text). Can someone advise me about this? Are others having this problem?

I have a similar problem.  Acrobat Standard DC 2015.006.30201.

What happens is I have an existing document with text boxes (not form fields) in it.  I cannot SELECT those text boxes with either the arrow or hand cursors.  If I hover over them with either cursor, I can highlight them, but as soon as I click with any tool it automatically opens the text box and inserts the cursor for editing.  If I am very careful I can get it to show a white 2-direction move arrow, and I then can drag the box.  If I hover over the edge and manage to highlight the box, I can then cut and paste with the keyboard shortcuts, but not by mouse.  If I stop hovering it de-highlights the box, and if I click, it opens the box for editing.  So there is no way to select a box and KEEP IT selected.  I can't use the arrow keys to nudge the objects, either, because they only highlight as objects when I'm hovering over the border.

I have tried with the "Make Hand tool select text & images" checked, and unchecked, with a restart in between.  Neither way works.

Hi ,

Could you please let us know what Operating System installed on your computer?

Is this happening with a single file or with other files as well?

Would it be possible to share the file with us? I have sent you a private message for the same, please respond to that message.

Thank You,

Shivam

Hi ironflipflop ,

I am sorry for late response.

Could you please let us know the Operating System installed on your computer?

What is the dot version of Acrobat Pro DC?

Is this happening with a specific document or with other document as well?

Does this document contains image?

Check if there is an update available for Acrobat.Launch Acrobat>click on Help menu and then click Check for Updates.

Thank You,
