On a Mac. I am trying out only Illustrator CC. My other apps are CS6. Now when I go to open a PDF for example - remember this is CS6 Acrobat, I keep getting the annoying CC sign in window. It wants me to sign in, but I am not trying to use Acrobat CC. I am trying to use my CS6 Acrobat.

when you finish your trial, uninstall cc and clean per Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems.

that will often resolve the problem, but you may need to uninstall acrobat xi and then reinstall it when you finish your cc trial.

i'm not aware of the cc app converting older versions to cc versions unless you allow the app to 'update' your older versions.  so, in the future, do not allow it to update non-cc programs.
