question about mouse up / mouse down action on ipad

I created an interactive form to be filled in. I added an "email form" button at the bottom. I added two actions. on mouse down, it performs the submit action via email....mail to and on the mouse up click it resets the form to blank. On th ecomputer, it works great, but on the ipad, it blanks the form out first and then sends it to email, so I only just get a blank form.... are there special considerations for adapting a form for use on an iphone or ipad?

I want the filled out form to email first and then return to the blank state by resetting.
