Re-installing Acrobat Pro 9 - Not accepting the serial code from CS5

hi.  Purchased CS5 Design Standard Windows a few years ago.  CDs.  Included in this suite is a separate CD of Acrobat Pro 9.  Installed everything a few years ago with the serial number given to me via a coupon code in the case.  Had to wipe the laptop because of problems with a windows 10 install.  Re-loaded CS5 fine.  Popped in the Pro 9 CD and it is telling me that the serial number is not correct. I have tried with the dashes, without etc.  This is the only serial number I was given.  How can I get this installed again?.

if you failed to secure your serial number and you purchased from or registered with adobe, check the account used when purchasing/registering Adobe ID

and, if that doesn't help, there's a small chance adobe support might be able to help.

using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

i believe separate serial numbers were issued for the suite and acrobat.

if you purchased from or registered with adobe, check the account used when purchasing/registering Adobe ID

Here is what came in the box:

  1. A coupon code that had to be submitted to adobe.studentlicensing.com
  2. I submitted code and received one serial number which is registered to me as part of my Adobe account under 'products'
  3. I have lost all my email so I can't locate the original email that gave me the serial number
  4. I kept the serial number for future reference
  5. If the Acrobat requires a separate serial number, how can I get that? I have all the original packaging etc
