Re: Problems with Acrobat XI and a pro trial version asking for license key

I have deinstalled Acrobat Pro XI and re-installed it with a valid license key (as confirmed by Adope Help Line).

However when trying to first open the program, I accept the terms and then a windo opens that says:

"Acrobat XI Pro-Testversion; 00 Tage;

Der Testzeitraum sit abgelaufen. Sie können Acrobat XI Pro weiter verwenden, indem sie die Sofware kaufen"...... "

But I've already purchased the Pro Version......

I tried now all the suggestions in Problems with Acrobat XI and a pro trial version. Nothing helped.

I still have a window saying the testperiod has expired. By a license or enter license key. No other options.

After entering the key it says this is not a valid key.

How can i get a new valid key?

Cathy

HI Cathy,

Since the original discussion on this topic was over a month old, I am branching your question into a new discussion in hopes of getting a fresh perspective on the issue from the experts in the Acrobat community. The first thread with troubleshooting steps tried thus far is available here: Problems with Acrobat XI and a pro trial version.

Del

Hi Del

Yes, the tread is over a month old, it took some time to work through all your suggestions as well as following external forums facing similar / same problems. And it is ok for me, to close the thread, however marking it as "correct answer " and "problem solved" seems pretty steep, as it was not the correct answer and the problem is after more than a month still not solved.

I would like to have a phone contact of a local or German speaking Adobe Acrobat XI person that can send me a valid key to get around the "Trial period expired" window. As mentioned various times before, I can install Adobe Acrobat XI and it accepts my license key, which is valid, however the "test trial period" marketing thing does not accept the key as valid. And now, it wants to sell me event another Adobe Acrobat solution.......

If this does not work out I as for a refund for a license I purchased in 2013, that worked well for 3 years and has now been terminated by a "update trial test marketing window".

Regards

Cathy

Hi Cathy,

I understand your concern with marking the older thread correct. My intention in so doing was to direct people to a more current discussion in hopes of getting attention for your issue from Acrobat specialists.

I do not have access to phone numbers for local, German-speaking Adobe Acrobat support. However, since you have already spoken with representatives via Contact Customer Care‌, I feel it is time to open a service ticket on your behalf. Please respond to the private message sent to your forum profile, and I will get the process started.

Best,

Del
