Reactivating Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on Windows XP - how do I do it please?

My Acrobat keeps asking to be reactivated but will not reactivate online and telephone activation isn't available - what should I do please?

Please share the exact error message which you are getting while activating this product .

The message says "you must re-activate to use this product" - you can then click to activate or quit, if you quit the message comes straight back again, if you click on activate it tells you that it is sending the numbers to Adobe it then tells you that activation was unsuccessful and offers you the choice of phone activation - when you call the number you are told that phone activation is no longer available and are given a website link - but this doesn't work for Acrobat 8.
