Reader DC hangs instead of saving

I am on Windows 10. I recently updated my build version. Perhaps that is the cause of this problem.

When I got Reader DC, it worked fine. But I have not needed it for over a month. Today when I did use it, any attempt to save a document resulted in a window popping up but remaining blank and never going away. Print still works. Not sure what the next move is or should be. Let me know. Thanks.

Try to unmark box for "Show online storage when saving files" under Edit menu > Preferences > General and click OK to save settings.

Then try to save file and check if it works.
