Redacting documents with attachements - Acrobat XI

I have a large amount of documents (emails) with attachments.  The emails and attachments both contain redactions.  I have created an Action to apply the redactions but it will not redact the attachments.  Currently I have had to conduct an Advanced Search for my redaction codes and manually apply them to the attachments. (over 10,000 files, my life sucks)

Is there an easier way to save me from slitting my wrists?
