Reduce File Size of PDF Form

How can I reduce the file size of my PDF form? The original document is 211 kb but once I add all the form fields and save it is substantially bigger 2,695 kb. I've tried saving as optimized pdf but that doesn't seem to decrease the file size at all. Any suggestions???

Thanks.

The easiest way to reduce PDF size, i.e., Open Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Click on "Tools" and choose "Combine files" and add your file, at the combine files menu click on "Options" and choose the page size at your desire and click on combine and save it. Hope it will helps you. Thank you

If it is due to using using certain fonts in form fields, which get fully embedded and thus increase the file size significantly, Acrobat will not remove the font data if you change them and do a Save As. I consider this a bug, but unfortunately Adobe does not. You can copy the fields after you change them and paste them into a new PDF though.

Make sure your form fields use a standard font (like Helvetica or Courier).

Then do a Save As and save the file under a new name.
