Reinstalled Acrobat Reader and now it will not open. Cannot view documents either.

If you remove the "IntraLinks" plugin then does it work?

If yes then you need to check the plugin compatibility with Acrobat Reader with the plugin supplier.

If no then disable the plugin, repair Acrobat Reader from the 'Help' menu and check.

Could you please tell me the dot version of reader you have and also the OS version on your system?

Also you can try running this cleaner tool (windows only):Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Restart your computer and install reader DC from this mentioned link : http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
