Reset adobe acrobat distiller X

Can you please assist in the following:

Adobe Acrobat Pro X and Adobe Acrobat Distiller X is installed on my computer (Windows 10).
When using Adobe Acrobat Pro X, I want to print a pdf-file with the Adobe pdf printer, to change the original pdf-page size,

For instance from an A0-size to an A3-size, I select:

Print

Printer: Adobe PDF

Adobe PDF Document Properties: Adobe PDF Page Size: A3

OK

Print

However the pdf-print result will not be an A3-print.

The original print-size remains.

I have probably changed the print settings, of which I am not aware.

How can I reset the pdf-print settings ?

When using the Adobe pdf printer in other programs, such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc., this problem does not occur.

You should not redistill to make a smaller PDF, use the correction profile in Preflight to change paper size.

Acrobat X is not compatible with Windows 10.

"Incompatible" doesn't mean it won't work. It means it's not tested and therefore not guaranteed to work. So it's not unlikely at all that it works on one set up just fine and there are all kinds of issues on another. Or that it works one day but not the next... In other words, problems are to be expected.
