We are considering using the comment feature when reviewing pdfs.  However, it's critical for our review process that the date stamp for the comment not change.  Is it possible for the date stamp to change?

By default, if you double click inside the comment and start typing into the same text field (which is a lazy behavior in my opinion), the date will change. But if you reply to the comment, the original comment creation date will stay the same If you want to be extra sure that the date will not change, lock the comments. At first glance, it looks like you have to one each Comment's Properties dialog box and click the checkmark next to "Locked." But I'm sure that there is a script somewhere, or one could be easily written, that would lock all the comments globally.

I also think that if you do a Shared Review, the comments become locked as part of the process of sending out the document for people to review/
