Runtime Error on Acrobat 9.0 Professional

Have just installed Acrobat Professional 9.0 from disk.

When opening i get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error:

Runtime Error!

Program: C...

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

So thats exactly what i'm doing - contacting you guys. The first person i spoke to was unhelpful.

I am running this on a domain pc on machines with Windows 7 32 bit and 64 bit with the same results.

I have already attempted changing the compatibility settings to "Windows 7"
