Good Afternoon,,

I have a folder of pdf's that I need to re save as an adobe pdf's.  They were originally saved as pdf's through paperport and my system will not read them and allow mass downloads on work tickets. it is 5k to 7k files.  Trying to avoid doing each file individually.

Thanks, EJ

You can use an Action in Acrobat Pro and re-save the files under a new name. However, Acrobat will not be able to handle that many files in a single process. You will need to do it in batches. I recommend no more than 500 files per batch.

hey Thanks, I set up an action to save as pdf and tried it on 5 paperport pdf files.  It resaved them but paperport is still coming up in the header in notepad.  If I manually resave one at a time, it removes papeport from the header and works.

How are you performing the manual re-save, exactly?
