Scan pages to beginning of existing pdf

Is there a way to scan pages to beginning of existing pdf in Adobe Acrobat CS6 instead of having them go to the end of the document?

Yes, you can do that. I hope, You have Acrobat X (Default Acrobat came with CS6) or Acrobat XI.

- Launch Acrobat and open file

- Go to Tools> Pages> More Insert options> Insert From Scanner

- Select any preset or Custom Scan

- There comes a pop-up asking where do you want to insert the pages

- Select the option you want and scan

*Note: Tool name is different for Acrobat DC. For Acrobat DC its Enhance Scan or Organize pages.
