Question

Scanned document size

I just upgraded my Adobe XI Pro and now, when I scan a document, it is scanned as legal size rather than letter size, regardless of the size of the original.  I can't seem to find anywhere that this can be changed in the settings.

Can anyone help?

Many times the print size, print quality etc get out of control/situation. There are various reasons behind this such as wrong drivers, wrong scanning settings etc. To fix this issue do the following:

Open HP Solution Center.

Select on Scan Document.

Click on which scan shortcut you would like to customize.

Then click on the "Change Settings' button.

Click on the "Advanced Document Settings" button. From there you can change the resolution (300, 600, etc) and scan type. Click ok.

Then click on "Save to file Save Options" button.

Go through Hp Officejet 6600 Manual for more scan size and scan type settings.

Please try following solutions:

Solution 1: To change paper-size of custom scan

- Create> PDF from Scanner>custom scan

- you will get the option to change the paper size there.

Solution 1: To change paper size of any preset

- Create> PDF from Scanner>select configure preset

- Select any preset like Auto detect color mode or Black & White etc.

- you will get the option to change the paper size there.

- Select paper size of it and save

- Now onward this new size is the default value of this preset.

Solution 3: If all the options like paper size, resolution and color mode are disable and you are getting scanner dialog while scanning, please change the settings

- Go to custom scan once

- Click Option button besides Scanner drop down

- Change the value of User Interface to "Hide Native Interface"

Screens are shared for your reference to change these settings Shared Files - Acrobat.com

Hope these options will resolve your issue.

Thanks.
