Select Tool - Acrobat Pro DC on Mac with El Capitan 10.11.5 OS Version

Question

I've tried practically every troubleshooting tip possible from this forum and other sites/forums. The selection tool just won't select anything PERIOD! I've tried all the different modes listed in manual and couldn't find anything on sites/forums that weren't listed. Can anyone help? I've done what you're thinking of I'm sure though.

Hi Ngraphix,Need a tad more information. Are you having this problem with ALL PDFs or just one? Is this PDF a picture of text or is it searchable? (Another test is when you click on the page, does the page turn blue? If so, you need to convert the image to searchable text) If you need to convert the page to searchable/editable text, select the tool "Enhance Scans," Select the option "Recognize Text""(in this file)" then click the button Recognize Text.Let us know
