Shortcuts to page in pdf

While it is possible to use a URL link to a page in a pdf on the web, e.g.

http://example.org/myfile.pdf#page=3

is there any similar structure to create a shortcut to apge in a file on disc, e.g. C:\myfile.pdf#3 ?

I have an extensive library and need to reference specific pages in specific volumes for research work
