Hi thomash15552790,

You need to upgrade to Acrobat DC Pro.

Please refer the KB doc for further help: Plans and pricing: Compare plans | Adobe Acrobat DC

That is very inconvenient.  Prior to Acrobat DC, indexing was a standard feature.  I don't want a monthly bill, I want to pay cash for a product and own it. Removing features and creating an endless billing cycle may seem like good business practice in the short run, but I do believe my funds might be better spent changing companies.  Sorry, Adobe, you are about to lose another paying customer.

I'd like to correct two points.

1. I'm pretty sure this has been a feature only in Acrobat Pro, since Acrobat Pro was launched (version 6.0). Of course Adobe sometimes do mysterious things; perhaps sometimes it is in Standard.

2. Your assumption that Pro is subscription only is wrong. Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro: two products. Perpetual license and subscription: two ways to pay. That's four in all. Note though that the subscription version is already upgraded way ahead.
