I have Standard XI it came with our scanner.  It was installed on my computer.  But my computer crashed and I had to restart it from factory so when I tried to reinstall Standard XI it says that the max number of computer has been installed and I won't activate.  I have tried for hours to find something on Adobe to help but it just says to sign out of the program from another computer it is installed on.  Well there are no other computers so now what do I do.  And there are no phone numbers for tech support.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you have a non-functioning computer and can't deactivate, use the link below

Serial number and activation support (non-Cloud) https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2041990 to adjust activation count

I followed the link you provided to the other persons question which had a link that I followed which took me to a customer support page that asked what my problems was.  I choose activate and deactivate which tells me to deactivate it on the computer which I can't do. So this doesn't help me at all.
