Submit Form in Adobe Acrobat - Android

Hello,

Perhaps someone could help me.

I've been trying to get a PDF form to submit on button click using DC Pro. I create the button, on actions (Mouse Down), I set the action to "Submit Form".

Here I type a URL for my webserver, and select "PDF the full document".

This works fine, and my server receives the file when using Adobe Reader on a PC. However the Android version of Acrobat (and presumably the iOS version too), the button shows, but does nothing on click.

I've also tried to get it to email the file instead "mailto:myemail@mydomain.com" but still the button does nothing.

Really hope someone can show me what I may be doing wrong here. From what I read, the Android App has the ability. It just doesn't seem to work for me.

Many thanks for anyone's efforts!

Thanks to everyone who has attempted to answer.

So far, I'm still having no luck.

I have now, as with NKOWA555's suggestion managed to get the PDF to submit via email on Adobe Reader for Android ("you will need to Extend Usage rights to the PDF form").

However I'm still not finding the submit button does anything when I change this to submit the document via a HTTP post. Can anyone confirm for sure that HTTP send actually works with the mobile versions of Adobe Reader?

Try opening the PDF directly in Adobe Reader:

Make sure the PDF is opened in Adobe Reader; because, default PDF viewers are unable to submit forms and handle proprietary functions only available for Adobe software. Adobe Reader is unable to submit whole PDF format; so you will need to Extend Usage rights to the PDF form; or submit the data and merge it on your web server using a 3rd party plug-in.

Since Adobe Reader is not available on the mobile android devices, do your examples work on iPhones or other smart phones?
