TAC value related to Simulation Profile in Acrobat DC

Hi,

I'm using Acrobat DC Pro. With some PDF files when changing the Simulation Profile also the TAC alue changes according the value in chosen profile. I think this has not been the issue in previous versions of Acrobat. Is that correct? If is, how can I ensure the maximum TAC value in Acrobat DC?

Hi,

Could you please let me know the version of Acrobat DC installed on the machine?

To check the version of Acrobat, launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Which operating system you are using- Windows/Mac?

The issue you mentioned is not reproducible at my end. You might try checking the box which says Total Area Coverage and select the desired value from the drop down.

Hi,

I'm using both Mac and Windows. In Mac the version is 2015.017.20053 and in Windows 2015.020.20039. I have seen the same behaviour in both environments.

The behaviour appears not with all PDF files. Anyway it appaers if the PDF file contains some Output Intent profile. For example I have production files with "Output Intent: ISO Coated v2 300% (ECI)". With it Acrobat shows the max TAC value 300%. But if I change the Simulation Profile e.g. to PSO INP Paer (ECI), the max TAC value goes to 260% which is the same as defined in the profile.

The iamges in the PDF files are in CMYK mode.
