Question

Text box on multiple pages

I am trying to figure out if there is any easy way to create a text box with a 'Permit #' that then has to be repeated and added to all pages following. I sometimes have to copy, paste on 160 pages. Is there a way to create a text box and have it repeat on multiple pages in Adobe Pro 10? What are my options? Thank you!!

This not a form fill document. These are plan drawings (blue prints) when I review them to tie them all together I put the permit number on each page. So this is a downloaded document from another source, not something I have created.

Doesn't matter. If you have Acrobat and the file is not secured or digitally signed then you can add form fields to it.

If you really want to do it with this comment instead of with a text field then duplicating it can be achieved with a script, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat/Reader -- Duplicate Annotations to Multiple Pages

Thank you, I will try it on my next permit!

Yes, it's easily done. After creating your field right-click it (still in Form Edit mode) and select Duplicate Across Pages.

Use a text field, not a comment.
