Text boxes don't print when I email the pdf to someone else.

I use Adobe Acrobat XI.  I have a form I need to complete for a client to sign.  It is not form fill, so I complete it using text boxes.  I save it and email it to the client.  When the client prints it, none of the text boxes print.  He gets a blank form.  How do I remedy this without me having to print it to Adobe then email the printed version to the client?
