Text overflow indicator

Hi all,

I've created a form which has text fields that I'm allowing to overflow the default text area provided. When I'm in form creator view, any field that has overflow text is flagged with a '+' sign in a box, which is great. Is there a way to show this icon in standard PDF view? Ideally, I'd like end-users who fill out the form then print it to be able to easily see which fields have additional text beyond the visible text boundaries.

Hope that makes sense. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sorry about that. Not sure what I did wrong there. If you try the link again it should work

Very strange. There's something wrong with your fields... When I add a new field in Acrobat it works fine, but not with your current fields.

I don't know what might be causing it, but I suggest you try to add new fields.

This indicator does appear in "standard PDF view". However, I'm not sure it

will be visible on a printed copy.

Thanks for the response. I've just double-checked my PDF, and the overflow indicator doesn't display in normal PDF view for me. The only indication I get re: overflow text in normal view is if I click on the field and a scroll bar displays. When I move the focus off that field, the scroll bar disappears. The 'Show text field overflow indicator' option is turned on in the document preferences, too. I'm not sure what else to try.

What application are you using to view the file? Can you share the file with us?
