Text Selection not removed after selecting a Text in Acrobat 2015

I am implemented Select Text functionality in one of my plugin,

here, I want to remove previously selected Selection, once i selected another Text.

In Acrobat 2011 and 2017 it was working fine, but in 2015 it was not working.

Please any one help me, to solve this issue.

Ok, that is the current update to 2015 Classic stream. There may be security patches for 2 years more but I expect there will never be any more functional fixes to the 2015 release. So... whatever is the problem, I think you will need to find a work around or declare it does not work.

I guess 2011 means 11/XI. 2015 could be the classic or continuous version, which are different products. There may be bugs. There might be a fix. What is the exact release of 2015 showing the issue (e.g. 2015.502.34344)?
