Hi Cdosrun,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Please try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Check if an update is available for Acrobat using "Check for updates" option under "Help" menu, reboot the machine after installing update and try again. You may also download updates from here: Adobe software and product updates

2- If that doesn't work, try running Acrobat as an administrator: Run an Adobe program as administrator | Windows 7, Vista

3- If issue still persists, try changing compatibility mode for Acrobat using the steps given here (for Windows OS only): https://support.microsoft.com/af-za/help/15078/windows-make-older-programs-compatible and try again.

You may also visit this link in a web browser to combine pdfs online: https://cloud.acrobat.com/combinepdf

Thank You,

Shivam

I'm having the same issue. All files are local pdfs. I've re-saved them as locked/unlocked/pdf 8/5. Always getting the same error: No PDF file was created because Adobe Acrobat DC encountered an unidentified error.

This was once a basic function of Acrobat, now not able to complete this job in any way I know how...

Does this happen with all files, or just some? What's your OS version?

[You moved it to the Document Cloud PDF services forum, which is not really relevant. I moved it again to one of the actual Acrobat forums, where it's more likely to get a reply..]
