Third party program pdf report error

Hello. I am using a thir party program which generates reports in pdf files. When I set as default viewer for pdf files Acrobat Reader DC and click generate report from this program the PDF it is not generated (the acrobat reader appears in apps in task bar but does nothing and have to end task because it will not open any pdf files if it is not closed). If I select Microsoft Edge as the default program for pdf files it works. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you

Not very useful. The developer needs to pursue this. For example there are many different ways he might try to open Reader. Some of them are supported, some not. You and I cannot know.

Ok. The conclusion is Microsoft Edge opens the report and Acrobat Reader doesn't. Well done Microsoft.

Two or more Acrord32.exe processes is normal. Could be s problem with how the report tool runs Reader. What does the maker say?

He says that is Acrobat Reader error since the report can be generated when

Microsoft Edge is set as default reader for pdf files.

1. Check you have the latest updates to Acrobat Reader DC. If not sure, please tell us the version you are running. If you don't know, please say.

2. Save one of these reports for testing.

3. Start Reader and use Open from the File menu. What happens?

4. If Reader does not read these files, report this to the maker of the report tool. Even if Reader is at fault, they will want to fix this if it is their problem.

5. We can't fix Reader, but if you share a PDF some people might be interested enough to test it and offer an opinion.

Hello.

1. I am using 2015.020.200039. Trying to update but says it is already running.

2. I generated the report with Edge like default viewer for PDF files, it works. I opened them with adobe reader and reads them perfectly.

If I set as default reader the adobe reader the reports are not being displayed (the program generates a pop-up report if i can say like this) and noticed that in task manager in processes there are 2 process of adobe reader when I am trying to export the report in pdf file with Adobe Reader set as default. When I am opening a pdf there is only one process.
