tiff, word convert to pdf with statistic filename

Voorbeeld:

Input                                        Output

123456_123456789.tiff          123456_123456789.pdf
123456_12345678.word        123456_012345678.pdf

654321_321.tif                        654321_000000321.pdf

Is hier een script voor?

You can do it using an Action in Acrobat Pro. However, it can't rename the files, only save a new copy under the new name.

So the first step would be to convert the non-PDF files to PDFs (it does that automatically), and save them using the original name, and the next would be to use a script to identify if zeros need to be added, and if so save a copy of the file under the new name (and maybe under a new folder).

PS. Acrobat can't process thousands of files in a single process. You will probably have to do it in batches.

From my experience 500 files is about the maximum Acrobat can handle, and that depends on many factors, like the size and complexity of the files, the specs of the computer, the version of Acrobat (XI is much better than DC), etc.
