Trouble installing Acrobat Reader DC

We have tried multiple times to download and install the updated Adober Reader. While we can go do Adobe and log into our account, when we get to the password step in the installer, our password is not recognized. We keep getting looped back into downloading the installer over and over. Please help. Working on a Mac. Thank you, Kathy.

It might be asking for the admin password set on your computer. You may remove the admin password, install Reader and then enable admin account.
