I had Adobe Acrobat 9 standard installed on my computer. I got an error message that instructed me to uninstall and reinstall the software. I uninstalled it but when I went to reinstall it it was unable to do so. What should I do now?

Also could you please tell me what was the error message you got?
Try running this cleaner tool : Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
Restart you system.
Then reinstall acrobat 9 from the link mentioned: Download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9
