Trying to upload/link a Youtube video to my Adobe Pro 11 PDF

im using a PC and I just purchased Adobe Pro 10.  I am want my viewers of this PDF to view a Youtube video.  I can find all kinds of information and videos of Adobe users adding or embeding a Youtube video but to older versions of Adobe.  I attempted to follow the same steps but het an error message about the Youtube URL.  I found many helpful downloads so you can do this on old Adobe but they dont apear to work on my new Adobe Pro.  please help?

Adding a bit more context to Test's answer. YouTube links are not links directly to a video, which is what you need to embed a video in a PDF. The YouTube link is a link to a player with a parameter that tells the player what to play. Acrobat has a built-in player that requires either a video file to embed in the PDF or a link to an actual video file. There are tools available on the web that will take the parameter from a YouTube video link and tell you the URL directly to the video. You'll want to use one of these... though I believe that violates the YouTube terms of service... so maybe you don't.

Not sure why you'd buy an Acrobat so old it is already out of support, and is end of life. But whatever version you have, you cannot embed a Youtube video in a PDF. The video has to be on a media server, not a full service video website.
