Unable to activate AA DC after trial period ended. Chatted for 1HOUR and she got windows installation error. Chat then "referred to specialist" and then ended chat.

I am a bit FURIOUS. I have AA X which allows me to update and buy AA DC.  I bought AA DC after the trial period.  I was then unable to activate the program.  Chatted with representative for 1HOUR. She did just what I had repeatedly done to get Acrobat Adobe DC activated and failed. She did such a good job that she finally got the Windows Installer error: "this installation package would not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."  Now there is no way to even use the naked AA DC without the tools. Any Suggestions?

Please try the steps suggested in this KB article :- Error 1635 about a patch when installing Acrobat 8 or Reader 8

If the issue still persist please check with the different user account with admin rights to replicate the issue, check with this article :- Adobe troubleshooting: Creating an admin account in Windows

Hi - i doubt if that will work - i have been waiting 13 days to get serial number - determination is the key
