Unable to activate Acrobat x Standard on new PC

I have Adobe Acrobat X Standard that I’m trying to install from a user that left the company about 3 years ago and I’m trying to install it on a new system.

I have the original packaging that has the serial number but it will now let me activate it on the new system.

The old system is long gone.

How can I activate it on my user system?

When I enter the serial number it does not except it.

Any ideas?

I pasted a screen shot of the error message.  I also attached a copy of the screen shot as well.
