Hi Shivam and Rohit,
After following the steps 1 thru 9 that status is the same i.e.
When trying to convert a pptx file to PDF I receive this pop up
'MIssing PDFMAker files - Do you want to run install in repair mode'
I click YES
Response is
'Please wait while windows configures Adobe Acrobat XI '
Gathering required documetns'
Then pop up
'You must restart you rsystem for the configuration changes to Adobe Acrobat I standard to take effect.
Click Yes to restart now
And then even though I restart when I try again the same response Missing PDF maker files pops up.
There is no error re the repair as it seems to complete successfully.
I tried changing this -7. Click on the box next to Create Adobe PDF and select "This feature and all sub features" - feature mentioned by Rohit but it also made no difference.
Thanks for helping me, can u think of anything else to try. - regards MIchelle
Hi Michelle,
Could you please answer the following queries? This might help us in identifying the issue.
1. What is the method you are using to convert PPT files to PDF? The possible ways are
a. Right click conversion.
b. Acrobat->Create PDF from file
c. Using the Acrobat ribbon inside the Powerpoint application.
2. Is the Acrobat ribbon visible inside your Powerpoint application? If yes then does the conversion succeed if you use the Acrobat->Create PDF option from the ribbon?
3. Office version.
4. Have you installed any other third party add-in except "Acrobat PDFMaker" for Powerpoint?
Regards,
Basma
