Unable to create pdf in Google Chrome

Question

Whenever I try to create a PDF from the Acrobat plugin in Chrome browser, after selecting the save location, it will be stuck at "Downloading for Conversion..." on the first try after turning on my computer.

It will just hang there, and then I have to end the Acrobat listening plugin in Task Manager to get it to stop. Retrying again will not work, and I have to end the plugin by force again.

The plugin will only start to work if I use the normal "Print" option in Chrome and select Adobe PDF printer one time. Then when I try the Acrobat plugin in Chrome again, it will start to work.

Is there a way to stop this from happening, so that the Acrobat plugin in Chrome will work every time after computer start/restart so I don't have to go through the extra steps?

Hi ThomasThis is a known issue and we are investigating it.As a workaround, you can create PDF from some Office file or web page from Acrobat via File > Create > PDF From file before initiating conversion from Chrome or print to Adobe PDF Printer.This is required only once after system re-start.ThanksTanvi
