The full error message states:  "This PDF form requires a newer version of Adobe Acrobat, Without a newer version, the form may be displayed, but it might not work properly. Some form elements might not be visible at all. If an internet connection is available, clicking OK will download and install the latest version. .

so can you please assist with what might causing this.

I work in an enterprise environment and I have the latest version.

The latest Major Version if Acrobat Standard/Professional DC. The "check for updates" only checks for minor updates to the installed major update.

It is possible you installed version needs to be repaired. If you do not see this option under the menu item "Help" you will need you IT group to run the "Repair" and see if that works.

If you have Adobe Reader version XI on allows for the saving of forms without having to apply special extended rights.

Hi C78004923S ,

Could you please let me know the version of Adobe Acrobat installed on the machine?

To check the version of Acrobat, launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>click About Adobe Acrobat

Are you trying to open the form in Acrobat or in a Web Browser like Internet Explorer/ Google Chrome?

Would it be possible for you to share the screenshot?

To post a screenshot here in the forums, please visit this link: https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Thank You,

Shivam
