Question

Unable to print pdf-documents

My problem seems related to default setup. When opening a pdf document and pressing the printer icon, the Printer is set to "Microsoft Print to PDF" as default. I change to the actual printer. Then the "Pages to be printed" is (by default) set to "All", and no alternatives are accessible. When I then press the "Print"-button, I get the dialogue-window "Cannot print the document" and when deleting that, a new window telling "No pages are selected for printing". Note that alle messages here are translated from Norwegian by me, so they may be different from the English version. Where do I change the default settings and get the printing prosess work as it should?

You should never create a PDF via print.

Save as Adobe PDF is the best solution from MS Office, from other applications you sould save as or export as PDF.

You misunderstood. My intention was not to create a pdf. My intention was to PRINT an existing pdf. WHEN I did that, the referred prosess occurred.
