After Adobe 23.006.20320 update, Outlook Quick Print not printing for *.PDF files. All other file types are working as expected. We can open from Outlook and then Print. Windows 11 computer with attached Brother printer. Tested with another computer that has the same update with a Canon printer and Quick Print worked.

I installed teh 23.006.20320 update and having the same issue.  Was working and printing some documents than just stopped working.  If anyone has a resolution I would appreciate any input/help to resolve this.

Hi all,

I looked into this issue from the Outlook Desktop side and found one issue that may cause quick print to fail.  If Outlook deletes the temporary file before the printing can complete it would cause an error There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found.  I posted a workaround to set a registry key that will tell Outlook to wait longer before cleaning up the temporary file so the file has time to print, Quick Print stops printing PDF attachments in Outlook Desktop - Microsoft Support.  If you are able to test this please let me know if it helps.  Please remember to restart Outlook after setting the registry key.

Having the same issue. I have tried repairing Office, repairing Adobe, uninstalling and reinstalling both. Trying the 32 bit version of Adobe (the free version). All seem to work once or twice but then start to not work after that. Has there been any fix? It's very strange because with some users that have the same exact programs, the quickprint works.

Yeah, one of the other employees has no issues at all with Outlook 365 and quick print, but the other one does.

Same issue here PDFs not doing quick print, trying the Disable Adobe Reader and hoping this is a work around for us, but this needs to be resolved I have a lot of users that use this option because it is a time saver when you have to print a ton of docs. did all the troubleshooting no change.

thanks!

I too have disabled the New Acrobat and can now quick print from my emails - I use Windows Live mail with Windows 10

I am NOT tech savvy and this has worked for me 🙂

I removed and reinstalled to correct the issue on my end. It appears that on 9/14/23 the update 23.006.20320 was auto installed. I removed it and reinstalled the same version from

Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader Distribution and it solved my issue.

Good luck!

Same issue, but disabling New Acrobat Reader didn't fix the issue. Running Outlook 365 and this started last week.

I will look into disabling New Acrobat Reader. My users are using Acrobat DC Pro(?) and the one experiencing this issue is working with the local Outlook application
