unable to retain hyperlinks when i convert a handout to PDF

The PDF unable to retains the hyper links when i try to convert a handout to PDF.

1. I have first created a ahndout from the PPT with Notes option enabled
2. Then the handout is published as PDf from the MS word 2013 using Acrobat DC
3. All the hyper links dissapear once published to PDF

I have lots of hyper links placed in my PPT and this needs to be automated during PDF conversion using Acrobate DC.
