Update to Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.14 Fails After OS El Capitan upgrade (Error 1301)

Error message suggests reinstallation of Acrobat (AGAIN)!

Was the upgrade to el capitan responsible for this as it appears?  Is there a fix without reinstallation? Why is this product so buggy?

Hi Marc,

This solution works best for error 1301, but can be used to troubleshoot other updater error conditions. For instructions, see Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X on the Apple website

The so called root user solution IS NOT a solution... it is a way to

TROUBLESHOOT a solution, and provides nothing, NOTHING, that describes

any ACTUAL SOLUTION!!!!!!
